Users typically perform this task when the SAM data or the type of team member is incorrect. Delete Team Member(s) from Symphony assets by following these instructions.
1. Update a Submission
Before deleting team members, they cannot be part of a proposal (See Figure 1).
- To check a proposal, select Modify Submission on the Solicitations tab of the Symphony Dashboard.
- Select the Team Members tab.
- The name of the solicitation is in the top left corner.
- The proposal has a withdraw button next to the listed team member.

2. Check the Projects
If the team member is attached to any projects, go to the My Company link and the Projects/Past Performance tab. The name of the company is in the top left corner.
- The Project title is a link to review the project.
- Use the Edit Project button to make changes.
- Data is maintained by replacing the team member with the prime or another team member. This can be a temporary swap. (See Figure 2).

3. Edit the Team Member
The Team Members tab in My Company is used for changes when the Team Member is not part of any projects or submissions.
- Select the Team Member.
- Remove Business Factors.
- All business factors must be unclaimed and the documents attached to those claims must be deleted.
- Remove Supporting Documents.
- All Teaming documents attached to the team member must be deleted.
- If a trash can icon is gray, return to the business factor (labeled as the Document Type) where the document is linked and delete it (See Figure 3).

4. Delete the Team Member
Once the deletion is complete, users can add the team member to Symphony with the new relationship type and the current information at SAM.
- Return to previous screens where changes were made to update the corresponding assets.
- Symphony will provide directions if changes are attempted in the wrong order. Carefully read the messages Symphony provides (See Figure 4).
