Modified on Wed, 22 May 2024 at 04:30 PM

Please follow these instructions to successfully use a smartphone app for Multi-factor Authentication in Symphony during Registration.

Step 1. Download an App

Step 2. Use the App

1. Download an App

To begin, please download an Authenticator App from iTunes or Google Play on your smartphone.

We recommend Google Authenticator. It is free, easy to use, and supports multiple accounts.

2. Use the App

Once installed, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app
  2. Choose scan QR code
  3. Scan the QR code during registration
  4. Verify the account name
  5. Enter the code when prompted
  6. Click Authenticate

You must have a unique code for each Symphony website you access. Please reference How to access Symphony for more information on the available contract vehicles. If you have multiple Symphony accounts, be sure to rename the codes to reflect the contract vehicle for the One-Time Passcode (OTP).
